Creating and Managing Alerts

Alerts notify you when award availability opens up on the routes you care about. You can create, edit, and manage alerts from your account dashboard.

Creating Alerts

  1. In the top menu, hover over Alerts and select Create alerts.

    Choose your alert type:

    • One-off alert → Sends one notification when availability is found, then expires.
    • Continuous alert → Keeps monitoring and alerts you whenever space appears.

      Fill in your alert details:

    • Nickname (optional)
    • Mileage Programs (choose from the list)
    • Origin and Destination airports
    • Date (specific date, date range, or any date — some options require PRO)
    • Cabin (Economy, Premium Economy, Business, First)
    • Channel (Email for all users; SMS for PRO)
    • Advanced filters (PRO only)
  2. Click Create Alert to save.

Managing Alerts

  1. Hover over Alerts and select Manage alerts.

    From this dashboard you can:

    • View all active alerts (grouped if you created a set).
    • Pause or resume alerts using the toggle.
    • Delete alerts individually using the red Delete button.
    • Recreate or delete groups of alerts in bulk.
    • Use the Search bar to quickly find alerts by nickname or route.

Managing Multiple Alerts

  • You can create as many alerts as you need.
  • Use nicknames to stay organized (e.g. “Summer Europe Trip”).
  • Each alert is independent — you can pause, edit, or delete without affecting others.

What Triggers an Alert?

An alert triggers when Seats.aero detects award space that matches your saved criteria:

  • Email notifications for all users.
  • SMS notifications for PRO members.
  • One-off alerts delete themselves after firing.
  • Continuous alerts keep monitoring until you pause or delete them.

👉 Pro Tip: PRO members unlock extra features like SMS notifications, unlimited continuous alerts, flexible date ranges, and advanced filters.
