How to search with specific programs or alliances

Seats.aero gives you the flexibility to narrow searches by program or alliance so you only see the award space that matters to you.

๐Ÿ”Ž Searching by program

You can search directly within a single program in two ways:

1. Using the Programs filter in Search

After you run a search, youโ€™ll see a Programs filter in the results. This lets you select just one (or multiple) programs to display.

2. Using Explore by Program

If you already know which program you want, go to Explore โ†’ [Program]. For example, choosing JetBlue TrueBlue will show all bookable flights in that program.

๐ŸŒ Searching by alliance

Some travelers prefer to see award space across an entire alliance (Star Alliance, oneworld, SkyTeam).

  • In Search results, use the Alliance filter to see flights operated by partners in your preferred alliance.
  • Example: If youโ€™re searching with United, filtering for Star Alliance will also include Lufthansa, ANA, and others.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

  • Start broad โ†’ Run your search with no program filter, then narrow down.
  • Programs only appear in the filter if seats are available. If you donโ€™t see your program, try widening dates, adding nearby airports, or relaxing filters.
  • Use alerts to track availability from your favorite program or alliance.
  • Always confirm space directly on the airlineโ€™s site before transferring points or booking.
