Does Seats.aero support round-trip searches?
At this time, Seats.aero does not support round-trip searches in a single query. If you’re looking to book a round-trip itinerary, you’ll need to perform two separate one-way searches:
- One search for the outbound leg (e.g., New York to Paris)
- A second search for the return leg (e.g., Paris to New York)
Each one-way search is treated independently and will show available award space for that specific direction, date range, and route.
How to Search Round-Trip Award Availability
To search for a round-trip itinerary:
- Start with your outbound flight by entering your departure and arrival airports, date range, and cabin preferences.
- After reviewing those results, run a second search using the same steps for your return flight.
- You can also create individual alerts for each leg, which will notify you when new availability is found based on your criteria.
Creating separate alerts for outbound and return flights can help you keep track of changes in availability over time—especially helpful for high-demand routes or peak travel dates.
We understand that round-trip functionality is important to many users, and it's something we're actively considering for future development. In the meantime, feel free to set up individual alerts for each leg to help track availability more efficiently.
