Why isn’t my preferred airline/program showing?
The Programs filter only shows airlines/programs that currently match your search. If an airline is missing, there are a few common reasons why.
1. No matching availability for your current search
If an airline is missing, it may simply mean there are no matching results for your:
- dates
- passenger count
- cabin
- routing
- stops
- or airport selection
Try:
- widening your dates (±7–14 days)
- reducing passenger count
- allowing more stops
- trying nearby airports
- searching one-way instead of round-trip
Searching for 4 business-class seats is especially restrictive and may produce very different results from searching for 1 seat.
2. Search and Explore behave differently
- Search is optimized for specific route/date searches and may use live refreshes depending on your settings/plan
- Explore is optimized for broad discovery and direct-route scanning
Some airlines, routes, or itineraries may appear differently between the two tools.
3. Expanded or member-only inventory
Some airlines show additional award space to:
- elite members
- co-branded airline credit card holders
- logged-in users
- members booking directly through the airline’s own loyalty program
That inventory may not appear through partner searches or third-party tools like seats.aero.
4. Program-specific or partner differences
Some flights may appear:
- on the airline’s own website
- but not through partner programs
Availability may also differ between:
- Avios
- Aeroplan
- Flying Blue
- United
- etc.
Even when looking at the exact same flight.
5. Dynamic pricing and cached results
Some airlines heavily use dynamic pricing.
Depending on your settings:
- certain dynamic results may not appear
- saver-only space may be prioritized
- cached results may temporarily differ from live airline availability
- extremely high dynamic pricing may be filtered
Try enabling:
- “Show all dynamic results”
6. Program not supported yet
Seats.aero supports many airlines and loyalty programs, but not every program is currently supported.
If an airline/program never appears in the Programs filter across any searches, it may not currently be supported.
What to try next
- Expand your dates
- Reduce passenger count
- Add nearby airports
- Allow more stops
- Try Search instead of Explore (or vice versa)
- Enable dynamic results
- Check directly on the airline site
Still think something is wrong?
Please include:
- route
- dates
- passenger count
- cabin
- airline/program expected
- screenshots
- where you saw the alternate availability (airline site, Avios, Aeroplan, etc.)
- whether you have airline status or a co-branded airline card
- whether you were using Search or Explore
This helps us determine whether the issue is:
- expanded/status inventory
- partner-program differences
- dynamic pricing
- cached/stale data
- or a real bug.
