How to Use Continuous Alerts
Continuous Alerts make it easy to track award seat availability without recreating alerts over and over. Instead of setting an alert for a single flight or date, Continuous Alerts keep running and notify you every time new seats match your filters.
What Are Continuous Alerts?
- One-off alert: Sends a single notification when availability is found, then expires.
- Continuous alert: Keeps checking and alerts you each time matching flights are discovered until you delete the alert.
This is especially useful if you’re flexible on dates or want to monitor a busy route without having to set up dozens of alerts.
How to Create a Continuous Alert
- Go to the Alerts menu and select Create Alert.
- Enter your route, cabin class, and mileage program filters.
- Choose a specific date, date range, or “any date” (Pro feature).
- Select Continuous alert at the top.

Continuous alerts will keep running until you delete them, so you’ll be notified every time new availability that matches your settings appears.
Example Use Cases
- Track all nonstop flights from San Francisco → Tokyo in business class.
- Get notified about any March flights from JFK → LHR.
- Monitor flexible routes like any West Coast → London availability.
Managing Your Alerts
- You can create as many alerts as you need
- Use nicknames to stay organized (e.g. “Summer Europe Trip”)
- To make changes, you’ll need to delete and recreate the alert
Tips & Troubleshooting
- Continuous alerts only work for nonstop routes tracked by Seats.aero.
- If you see unexpected alerts (like economy seats), double-check your cabin filter.
- To reduce excess notifications, narrow your date range or add more filters.
